Google AI Courses and Certifications
Description
UIC faculty, staff, and students have access to learning opportunities through Google Accelerator Professional AI Certifications. This is an educational initiative designed to provide specialized training in artificial intelligence. Upon requesting this service, you will be enrolled, at no cost, in a dedicated Canvas course. This course allows you to choose and complete one or two distinct certification paths, ultimately resulting in official Google AI certifications.
How to Request Access
You can request Google Accelerator Professional AI Certifications Access by filling out the online form. Note that it will take several business days to process. You will receive an email notification once you have been successfully added to the course.
Available Courses
There are two certifications available through Canvas:
- Google AI Essentials: Best for beginners. Learn how AI works, how to write prompts, and how to use AI tools in your everyday work.
- Google AI Professional Certificate: Best for deeper integration. Learn advanced prompting, data analysis, content creation, and building AI-powered applications.
Certification and Badging
You will receive a Google AI Certificate for each of the courses that you complete. If you complete both courses, you can claim a UIC professional badge. The Google Certificates and the UIC badge can be shared directly to your LinkedIn profile.
