UIC launched a campus-wide pilot project in February 2024 to evaluate the writing assistant tool Grammarly for one year. To gauge initial user experience, UIC collected feedback from 296 users on the UIC Grammarly pilot program. The questions aimed to assess user satisfaction, the tool’s effectiveness in improving writing quality, and its impact on communication.
