Important Announcement: VoiceThread Retirement – Effective June 13, 2025

We want to inform you that VoiceThread will be officially retired as of Friday, June 13, 2025. This decision was made after careful consideration of current usage and cost-effectiveness; VoiceThread has seen very limited adoption by instructors, and maintaining the tool is no longer a sustainable investment.
What This Means for You
- Access through VoiceThread will end on Friday, June 13, 2025. After this date, new content creation and editing within VoiceThread will not be available.
- We encourage you to begin transitioning any content currently hosted on VoiceThread to other platforms such as:
- Blackboard Discussion Board
- Panopto
- Padlet (not currently licensed by the university, but a possible replacement)
