Explore Course Design with the Blackboard Ultra AI Design Assistant

As our university continues its exploration of artificial intelligence and its implications for teaching and learning, LTS is providing a distinct small-scale pilot program for instructors interested in incorporating these tools into their course development. Using the AI design assistant in Blackboard Ultra, which assists course developers in tasks such as image sourcing, quiz questions, discussion board development, course organization, and rubric creation. With new tools introduced on a quarterly basis, we are enthusiastic about collaborating with a cohort of faculty members to delve into the potential value of AI.
Measure Student Achievement through Standards and Goals

Ensuring the alignment of course outcomes with assessments is crucial for accurately measuring student achievements. In the upcoming spring semester, we are offering a pilot and encourage faculty members to explore the Standards and Goals tool, available in both Blackboard Original and Ultra. Through personalized one-on-one assistance, we will guide faculty in setting up this tool, facilitating the seamless alignment of learning objectives with specific content and assessments. The tool also provides valuable metrics, enabling you to gauge the success rate of students in achieving these goals. This collaborative effort aims to enhance the effectiveness of your course assessments and contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of student success.
