Sawsan Alqarni serves as a Lead Teaching Assistant at LTS, where she offers comprehensive educational technology support to UIC's faculty, students, and staff. Her expertise lies in providing Blackboard-related and educational learning tools support.
Before commencing her PhD in Critical Studies at the English department at UIC, Sawsan earned her Master's degree in English Literature from Indiana University. During her academic journey, she also held the position of Teaching Assistant at King Khalid University and Bisha University. In these roles, she taught ESL to native Arabic speakers, actively participated in student advising committees, and underwent professional training in course development, including QM Rubrics and Standards.
