About
Gabriel Caskey is a technology professional with a focus on creative enterprises, the arts, and education. He began his career providing endpoint support, hardware repair, and later systems administration and AV engineering. He has worked in Academica for the past 13 years, where he has supported curriculums ranging from interior design and architecture, photography, clinical research, sound and music production, radio, television, and film production, as well as emerging technologies. He began his career in education working for Harrington School of Design and went on to serve Northwestern's School of Communication as a Senior AV engineer for nearly a decade, where he helped craft spaces and technology to support their wide range of curriculums. He recently worked for DePaul’s College of Computing and Digital Media, overseeing initiatives such as virtual production, new labs for School of Computing and creating new classrooms for the Loop and Cinespace campuses.
Gabriel is also an artist and musician and is always looking for opportunities to enable academic professionals to do more by understanding the goals they wish to achieve and finding the best solutions possible. He is excited to be part of the Technology Solutions team and looks forward to the new ideas, relationships and learning opportunities it brings.
