Cheryl Hitosis McKearin is the Manager of Academic Technology and Learning Innovation at LTS. Drawing from her experience in education, instructional design, and instructional technology, she currently provides training and advanced support for instructors across UIC’s ecosystem of educational technologies. Prior to joining LTS, she taught English composition and ESL/ELL for almost a decade. Cheryl graduated from UIUC with an English Literature degree. She holds graduate degrees in English Literature and Instructional Leadership from UIC. She is working towards a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology at NIU.
Cheryl enjoys eating noodles, reading novels, and scuba diving in warm water (preferably Guam).
