Let’s make AI history! Submit your Brain Blueprint here!

Build a brain contest

Hey there, tech trailblazers! Ready to dive into the digital deep end? Learning Technology Solutions (LTS) has the ultimate challenge for you: Build A Second Brain!

What’s the Buzz?

Welcome to Quivr, the platform that lets you create AI assistants known as “Brains.” These specialized assistants can connect to specific data sources, allowing users to interact directly with the needed information. Whether you need a code snippet, a snazzy summary, or a poetic twist, these Brains have got you covered with the latest RAG technology.

The Contest: “Build A Second Brain”

Submit your idea for a Brain, detailing what it will do and how it will be used. The top 20 submissions will receive free access to Quivr’s platform for 3 months to build and test their Brain. Your submission should include:

Develop A Brain Blueprint

  1. Imagine your Brain — the one you’ll sculpt like a digital Michelangelo. What will it do? How can it help other students? What’s the mission? Solve world hunger? Decode cat meows? Write a novel? Show us the roadmap, complete with pit stops for coffee and eureka moments. This is your chance to learn about AI, develop new skill sets, unleash your creativity, and have fun.
  2. Your Brain needs food…data! Where’s it going to get it? Spreadsheets? websites, PDFs, APIs? Databases? Give us the specs, and let’s get started!
  3. List who’s in your Brain’s entourage. Shout out your squad—names, aliases, and secret handshakes. Teamwork makes the dream work!

Judges’ Metrics

We’re not just head-nodding; we’re rating and ranking:

  1. Meaningfulness/Usefulness
    • Impact: Does it address a significant problem or need? For example, a Brain that helps students organize their study schedules to improve academic performance.
    • Practicality: Can it be realistically implemented and used by others?
  2. Innovation/Creativity
    • Originality: Is your Brain doing the robot or inventing new moves? Perhaps it’s an AI that can write personalized poetry based on the user’s mood.
    • Inventiveness: Is it introducing something novel or unique that hasn’t been seen before?
  3. Adaptability
    • Flexibility: Can it be easily adapted to different scenarios or user needs? For example, a Brain designed to help with coding that can switch between different programming languages.
    • Scalability: How well can it grow or be expanded to serve more users or additional functions?
