Priya Patel is an undergraduate in biology with a strong interest in exploring the sciences and building a career rooted in technology and biology. She is a Classroom Tech Specialist at UIC, ensuring a smooth classroom experience by checking classroom setups, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting professors with in-class technology needs. Previously, Priya served as a Computer Specialist, supporting students and faculty with technical challenges, including Active Directory, WiFi, and password issues, which enhanced her IT support and customer service skills. She is also a volunteer at UI Health, expanding her hands-on experience in a healthcare setting. Fun fact: Priya loves discovering Chicago’s hidden gems, from cozy coffee shops to scenic lakefront trails, and is always looking for new spots to explore and unwind.
